Kizomba
Kizomba is a partner dance from Angola, to music from across Africa and the Caribbean. Over 7 decades of music, from across 2 continents, in 1 dance!
Fom elegant Kizomba to crazy Semba show tricks and anywhere in the middle... so much to choose from!
Maddie and Horacio started dancing Kizomba and Semba in 2010 in Poland - one of the first European countries where Kizomba took root! They visited Angola to live the culture first hand and train and dance with the most respected local instructors, including most of the winners of the Angolan National Competitions. They later won the 1st Australasian Kizomba Competition. Maddie and Horacio love the freedom and improvisation of Kizomba and Semba and the richness of the music, and try to share them in their parties and classes.
